Variable stating

Hi everyone , :slight_smile:

You know on Flash MX2004 you have to state variables before using them or else you get a NaN error, well anyone knows how can this be changed so you don’t have to state them before using them like in Flash MX

so If you have like 30 variables you have to set them all to 0 in the first frame before you use them ?

yes, if you intend on attempting to accessing their variable before setting them otherwise, yes.
