Hi,
Please accept my apologies for asking something soooo basic but I foolishly stuck my hand up when the boss said, “Can anyone do a little Flash for me (??)” because three years ago I had a go at tweening a ball with a gradient around the screen. Hut, ya. Flash Guru!
Now I have a shiney new copy of MX2004 on my box but oh my, how it has all changed!
I have to put together a basic presentation, that will run on early Flash players and above, little bubbles of text appearing automatically on a timed basis but with buttons for “Next”, “Back” and “Play” etc. I’ve got the bubbles in movie clips but just don’t understand how to get the buttons to kill one movie if it is playing and go on to the next, or back, or whatever with any intelligence.
I spent yesterday surfing and searching for a simple tutorial but can’t find anything close to what I need. Any links or code would be greeted with a big beeming smile and a sigh of relief.
I am heading into town this evening to go get me a copy of Moock’s book because the one thing I have learnt from my research is that he’s the Man but fear that will still leave me flailing.
