VERY simple question! Driving me nuts! PLEASE help!

Hi everryone:

I am being driven crazy by a button in Flash.

This works when I’m in editing mode with simple buttons enabled, but NOT when I preview or publish! Can anyone help?

I have a (STOP) command on frame 265 of my movie.

I have a button on the SAME FRAME, with this code:

on (release) {
nextFrame();
}
