Hey guys,
I’m a coder, and as do some coders, we dont play a lot of games. We get the application to work, then we move onto the next project, etc, etc.
Well I’ve been getting into graphics quite a bit lately and I noticed that Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash MX 2004 Pro, Swift 3D, Corel, etc etc are running quite slow.
I have 1 gig of memory in my PC, with an AMD 1800 processor. But my card is a 32 MB card from Comp USA. Some cheap-o brand that just did the job.
Well, I’m tired of waiting for everything to repaint ten times before I can see something.
Soo… I’m wondering, without spending a fortune what is my best option for video card, and why?
I’ve been reading that the ATI 128 card is a good way to go. But i’m not sure which one.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
