Hello my radeon 9200 video card seems to have a S-video slot and my tv does also, I bought a s-video cable, and connected both of them and my tv does now show anything when it is set to s-video.
How do I do this?
I assume by “it is set to s-video” you mean that you have correctly set your tv to display the input from s-video.
Now for the instructions:
- go to display properties (control panel or right click desktop)
- Settings tab
- select the box labelled “2”
- check “extend my windows desktop onto this monitor”
- hit apply or ok
if the above does not work, try connecting it to the tv before booting up your computer.
that should work, if it doesn’t you could try right click, properties advanced and go to displays and make sure there is power going to the tv, worked on my ati card that way, so good luck
also make sure your TV is set to a video input.
