I don’t know if this really falls under the art/design forum, but i couldn’t really think of a better category for it…
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows of any good resources pertaining to video compression, i frequently come across 30 second video clips, at a decent web quality that are about 5-7mb. When i capture video it’s in .avi form, and a 10 second cip could easily be 40mb, so i convert them to .mpeg
so i can put them on my site, and a 10 second clip is about 2-3mb…
What i was wondering is how can people get 30 seconds of footage into a 5mb clip, at a size of about 320 x 240…
