i dont know if this is entire relevant in flash but here goes:
i have a mpeg video, (or avi format) and i want to make flash link to that video, open a default player, like quicktime or windows media player and play that specific video. is it possible to link it in flash? you can do similar things to linking web pages to opening default email programs, but how about video?
and another thing
i used flash MX 2004 professional…i imported a 88 meg video and i set it to the highest quality and highest bandwidth (everything), in the preview it was clear and non pixelated, but after it finished importing, when i tested the movie the video was bad quality…full of pixels,
is this flashs problem, of the problem with the video.
