I have been trying to create a volume control for a sound file, using the tutorial at http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/volume_slider.htm
however it doesn’t work.
I checked and rechecked about 3 times to see that i’d followed the instructions exactly. My sound file plays, but the volume control has no impact on it. And it continues to say “downloading song”, even though the sound starts immediately.
Does anyone know of problems with this tutorial and/or is there another that can get me up and running with a volume control quickly?
Any help would be appreciated.
