I apologize, and please move it if necessary…I just got an email from a client who owns a hi-fi store that specializes in big-screens and stuff…he’s asking me this:
First and foremost, the business would be primarily concerned with service, ie; home-theatre installations, re-connections/hook-up’s etc.
What I would like the web-site to do is offer an on-line quote;
I’d like to ask customer’s questions (15-20) and they answer most with YES/NO with some questions requiring customer to put in text, e.g. brand/model # of TV/DVD etc.
(With each answer an internal web-site program calculates time/price, hidden from viewer until end when quote is given with a total price and service call duration are shown.
From there, I’d like to perhaps have the web-site to request a time/date and maybe even prepayment options
Would something like this be possible? I mean, I’m sure it is, but what would you program it in? Thanks everyone…this is way above me…why can’t he just ask for a simple flash intro
