Webby layout idea

hey all!

I’m visiting my old school for a few days, going on the second now :slight_smile:

I was asked to come up with a new design for “Fjord TV”, a local tv station… kinda…

I threw this together in a day or so, just wanted some comments, if any :slight_smile:

as opposed to the old: www.fjordtv.dk

All I had to go on was: “It has to be blue-ish… we like blue…”… :sure:

it’s nice, i like it a lot, clean, simple but yet so stylish. especially like what you’ve done to the logo, great job :thumb:

Agreed, nice and simple, no chance anyone’s going to get confused. But I’d get rid of all that funny writing, no-one’ll be able to understand what you’re saying… :wink:

the header with the water looks a tad empty to me…

otherwise looks clean

It looks really nice but I agree about the header, it’s too bare.
It has so much motion being static like that, it’s just asking to be animated or for something to happen, I stared at it for a good minute waiting for something to happen :stuck_out_tongue:
It’s nice though, great job.

here’s my idea, how about a picture taken from a lower angle, where you can see dawn witch some icemountains in the back, wouldn’t that be cool?

Icemountains?? I’d say a nice picture of a fjord. A blue fjord that is :stuck_out_tongue:

btw, are there fjords in danmark? I thought that was something norwegian.

What is a fjord, all I’m coming up with a is a knock-off f-150.

Oh, well then the picture at the top makes sense, yay!
