I’m thinking of making a better website for my so called company(which doesn’t exist but it does in the minds of me and my best friend). Anyways:
After the intro, i want all the nav bars and other junk to sort of fade in from the top down. But, i want to make a little line that falls down, and everything on top of it starts fading in, but below is invisible.
Is this possible?

i’m sure i can do this with just lines…but how about a text box and graphics.
I want them to be invisible until the little line, e.g. | reaches them.
I could easily do this with a one color background, but i want to have a pic behind it.
any ideas?
Check some of kirupa tutes about easing and mess with the [COLOR=BLUE]_alpha[/COLOR] command 
Are you wanting everything to fade in but what’s not been passed by the line stays invisible even though the invisible stuff is fading in.
Or you don’t want the stuff to start fading in until the line reaches it. Like your pic would be broken up into sections and each section fades in?
You could probably do a lot of this kind of stuff with masking, so you might look into that.
