Its just a photoshop mockup but the final site will be done in flash.
The client asked for something a bit whimsical, feminine yet classic or antiquey. The logo was already done though, and it was quite modern looking so I tried to marry (ba doom ching!) their concept and the already established feel of their materials as best I could.
Menu items are subject to change, they haven’t established what they’d like yet.
This one is just an example of the layout and how I’d like to use photos with the text. I’d vary the size and placement of photos depending on the content.
Their only color request was that it be earthy or subtle and that cream or off-white found in sepia photos be used rather than crisp cold white.
