umm…sorry but what happened, why was the site & forum down?
Site was up. Only forum was down. There were a few tables in the SQL database that were causing problems. Fixing it took a while. Of course, bludgeoning the cute little bits and bytes into empty space solved the problem almost immediately 
no even the site was down…atleast here in uae, i tried it couple of times yesterday.It was not working.
