Apache is great, it is open-source software devloped years ago and rund some 60% of all webservers in the world. I used Apache for awhile and found some pretty sweet resources. It can be difficult to setup without a client, since everything is in text files. Thinking back to 1995 when it was developed. It was basically changes in the coding of the HTTP, the NCSA HTTPd 1.3, which basically mean’t it was given the name of “a patchy” server. Which it isn’t now of course
