This is the path I gave it and the names of the jpegs 1.jpg etc
It works if I install the .swf in the same folder,
and leave a path out, but it wont work off the desktop
following that path, with the error,also how would I get
the x and y loctions in that movie. it’s in the lower right hand corner as it is.Thanks
The \ at the end escapes the " that follows it. Example of the usage of :

So try using /'s instead of 's:
value = "c:/flash/pics/";
trace(value);
Or…
