I’m running Firefox 3 Beta 1 and it’s pretty nice except for a couple of issues.
My main concern is the new half-assed places system. I don’t know if Firefox is switching completely over to places or if it’s going to keep bits of Bookmarks, but right now the implementation blows. When I click Bookmarks in the menu bar it automatically bookmarks the page I’m on and gives me a box to fill in about my new bookmark. Which I guess would be nice if I wasn’t just trying to look at my freaking bookmarks.
Am I just doing something wrong or is this happening to everyone? Happens to me on Windows and OS X.
