i’ve just started to look into adding sound to my game, and… well, i don’t know where the hell to begin 
i’ve done a bit of searching among game dev forums and i haven’t really seen a lot of people talking about sound fx, where do you guys get yours? do you get them from websites, record them yourselves, create them with a synthesizer? and does anyone know of any good freeware for creating/editing software? any thoughts, advice, or useful links would be appreciated, thanks
