New year, new life, old questions…
I have been committed for two medium-big sites, one for a multiplex cinema and one for a music school.
They are quite similar in structure, both they will run over a calendar, with events triggered on a date basis (movies or lessons or concerts or personnel selections), and will have a user-input section (inscriptions, etc) and a download section (forms, fax models, people lists, printable calendars, anything else), and a forum.
And both will need a CMS.
I could code everything from the scratch, maybe using some classes, or i could adapt some pre-existent package such as a phpBB or a bBLog…
I think that the second option would take the same time (study, understand, try, test) than to develop in the first way.
What would you suggest?
