Hi all this is just a quick question.
If for example I created a simple gradient in Illustrator and imported that into flash, I would think that a vector from illustrator would be the same as a vector in flash, but the file size is massive in comparison.
My question is why is this the case? Is there a special way to work from illustrator and import into flash?
You maybe asking yourself why not just create the gradient from within flash. This does not answer my question…
Gradient control is far more advanced from within illustrator in terms of vectors, so I have more control in how the gradient looks, for example gradient mesh :).
But I really need the file size to resemble that of a vector which it does not… :(. I may as well add a jpg for the background?
Any advice would be useful as I am in the production stages.
