In the docs from Adobe.com,
it says:

Cross-domain policy files affect access to a number of assets, including the following:
- Data in bitmaps, sounds, and videos
- Loading XML and text files
- Access to socket and XML socket connections
- Importing SWF files from other security domains into the security domain of the loading SWF file

But when I tried to access the videos on Youtube, I found it possible to load and play, seek completely. But checked this file, http://www.youtube.com/crossdomain.xml it did not put my domain on it. (not only locally but also when putting my swf on a server) So why sometimes we can access the flv files but sometimes we cannot do that with XML files? It’s really weird
