i have a flash site i made a while back… and reposted recently…
its two movies posted on the same html page… the site, and then below it, the second movie with just a the song and ‘muter’ component.
(its two movies, cause at the time i created the whole thing, i couldnt get the muter component and the preloader to play together nicely)
anyhow, sometimes on IE, the song plays very ‘oddly’… its kind of hard to describe, and what makes it worse is, it doenst always play ‘oddly’ – sometimes it plays just fine…
here’s my best at trying to describe it:
imaging you have two stereos playing the exact same song, at ‘almost’ the same time, except for one of the stereos started playing the song about 1 second later. so it ends up having this kind of ‘strange repeated looping doubling’ effect… heh heh… those are the the words that come to mind.
anyhow, i’m hoping this is a pretty common problem, with a common solution… i just dont know what to call it, or ‘what’ search for in terms of a solution…
