I made a .fla files… pulled and instance of the mediaPlayback component on the stage and in the component inspector pointed it to the correct external .flv file. All works fine when I test locally. The video plays and the controls are active.
When I upload and test on a server. At some times of the day… the video plays perfectly… smooth. At other times of the day… the video drags… it becomes out of sync… looks terrible.
What am I missing here? I am under the impression that the mediaPlayback component when loading an external .flv file will automatically stream the file. No extra apps needed and no extra scripting.
Any feeback would be helpful… I am thoroughly confused… have read all the tech notes and posts I could fine… but I must be missing something… or just not understanding.
