I worked on a movie clip for hours…
Then it was too late and I went to sleep… I saved the fla.
This morning I wake up open the fla and what do I see??
The movie clip has been changed to a ***ING RED BOX!!!
Actually… this had happened before…
It happens to me every time, I open up a fla… Flash somehow deletes one of my movie clips and replaces the content with some random pick from the library… At least that’s how it looks like… Tell me… is something in my computer causing this? Am I the only one?
you see the red box means there was an image in it ?? (if yes then image was deleted from library)
and mind your language (at least on the title) for throwing your frustration :bandit:
ok… wel… I got the movie clip from some previous save… so not much harm done. And yes… I apologise for my language… I cooled down… 
But still… why does this happen? The red box was one of the objects in my library… Well… it was a mask… And the previous movie clip seems to have completely dissapeared… :S
Is this a bug? I don’t believe anyone else has this issue…

and as to MC’s changing appearance, I’ve had that happen to me long ago, usually it happened 'cause I had missing images and such (though flash just took other mc’s and stuffed them into other mc’s…)

yes… sounds like my problem… But the images are in my library and I haven’t moved them… All I did was I saved the fla, turned the computer off and went to sleep. When I woke up, it was, as you said, a mess.
I just started from scratch again back then, There was no hope for my files
anyway, just PM me the new title you want, I’ll get right on it.
