I’ve only just started learning PHP as I just want to create a simple contact form for the website I’m working on. I’ve copied the script provided in the tutorial exactly as it is (changing my email address of course) but it doesn’t seem to be working quite right. For some reason if I use my university email address the form comes through fine but if i use my gmail or hotmail email address I don’t receive anything. Seems a bit unusual? I’m testing the script from my computer using XAMPP Control.
Any idea why it’s working for one email address and not the others? My only hunch is that it has something to do with the filtering systems used by hotmail and gmail (although I’m pretty sure my uni email is powered by gmail anyway).
Any help would be much appreciated!
