Windows Fonts Messed up.. sometimes

I haven’t noticed it until today. In MS Paint, when I click the Text toolbar icon, nothing happens. The tool does not get selected and Windows goes “DONG”. In Photoshop CS3 Beta, as soon as I select the text tool, the program freezes indefinitely. All the other applications are fine. Anyone have any idea what’s going on? :-/
