Very nice cover
The only thing that grates with me are your photo competition winners - there’s an orange bar on the right (presumably part of an image) whereas the pic of the bird on the left looks narrower than the rest. Making this the same width as the other pictures would get rid of that strange orange segment.
From an editorial perspective, who are the “them” under the Global Warming headline? Global Warming should be an “it”.
Otherwise, a great cover image that attracts the eye and with an unobtrusive area which is tailor-made for your headlines - very good.
