XInput is natively supported by Windows, but does not feature built-in keyboard mapping. Thus, you need another program to get your 360 controller to listen to Flash. Easily done, but cumbersome.
Mac OSX Driver (currently no keyboard support – donate and send him a note!)

I actually talked to people at both Macromedia and Microsoft back in 2005 to get them to add XInput support to Flash, but I’m guessing the reason this hasn’t happened might have something to do with Silverlight… Or they just don’t think it’s a big enough priority.
So here we are.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to get Flash and the 360 Controller to talk to eachother through standard gamepad input signaling instead of keyboard mapping?
