XML dynamic text--Loads in IE, not Firefox

I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction, because I’m completely stumped with this problem. I have a dynamic text box that reads some lines of text from an XML file, and will display it as a description for an image. When I view my page in IE, it works perfectly, and the information comes up properly. When I view it in Firefox, the text box reads ‘undefined’. Would anyone know why this is happening?

The site is:
http://web.syr.edu/~bmbilfie/testpage/alphaBG.html

If you goto Dynamic, then click the first link, then click any of those 3 thumbnails, you will see the description come up underneath the image. Everything else on the page is loaded using XML, and displays fine, it’s only that one description underneath the image that won’t display in Firefox.

Are there any known bugs in regards to displaying XML data in Firefox? Any help is really appreciated. :rambo:

Anyone have any ideas? :crying:

I tried it on IE, Firefox, and Navigator and they all worked fine. Im not very familiar with firefox but maybe theres an option thats been turned off or something?

Weird. I checked to see if it worked after I posted my second post in here, and it didn’t.

Then you said it worked in Firefox, so I just went to check, and now the text reads properly, and doesn’t say ‘undefined’. That’s really weird.

Thanks for checking to see if the text works.

XML is XML is XML - And should work with FireFox. I saw Undefined on some of the other pages but not the on one you are referring to.

Finally-Nice Site you have there!

Because I still havn’t edited those XML files the links read from yet :azn: I’m putting content up in the next week once I finish bug testing everything to make sure it all works.

Thanks a lot! Creating this site has been a great learning experience. I definately feel like my actionscripting skill have come a long way since I started it a month or 2 ago. :p:
