Because of my fruitless searches for a tutorial or source files for a server-side XML editor, I am wondering how possible/difficult it actually is to do. Let me briefly explain my goal, I have a Flash eCommerce site, in which the items for sale are dynamically populated into Flash by an XML file. The problem is that I want these site owners to be self-sufficient with their shop’s so I need to create an editor for them to use on the admin side. They are bound and determined to have a Flash shop (and quite honestly I have spent a long time developing them), so…am I going about this all wrong? Is this a really bad idea with the XML editor? I figured I would just make a GUI that displays XML (or just use XSL) and have some edit/delete features, but I really don’t know where to look or how to do this!
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
BTW, I am searching for a new host, so any scripting language is okay by me. Also I can do a database if you think that would be better.
