I have no idea why this won’t work. Maybe its the server.
Just for my myspace account, I am using a free hosting site (freeservers.com). I made a music player w/ a xml playlist, but it wouldn’t load the xml playlist. I checked and double checked the address to the xml playlist. It’s correct.
So I made a extremely simple app to only load in the xml file, and either output it to the textfield, or output a message saying that the load was failed. I put them both in the same directory (the xml and the swf). So its not conflicting with the cross server loading rule Flash Player has.
My swf tells me that the xml is failing to load. Can you tell me whats wrong? Here’s links:

As you can see, they are in the same folder and everything. I also attached a fla for the sample.swf file. Any help?
