XML httprequests in firefox 2.0

I’ve been going through some of the tutorials here:

http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_examples.asp

I noticed that a lot of the examples don’t work in firefox 2.0. Has there been any changes that cause this? I am just curious what’s going on.:worried:
