I’m actually using CS3, but I’m doing some less advanced stuff… Essencially, I took the files from http://www.thegoldenmean.com/technique/mp3player01.html (a flash mp3 player), modified a few visual things, then tried to publish it and all, and put it in an html site, but I’m really not sure how I’m supposed to embed it for it to work properly. The html file that was created when I published it had lots of javascript in there, but isn’t there a simpler solution? I used just the barebone <object> tag with all the atributes, and the <embed>,… and that worked lovely for a simple digital clock animation I made. Thing is, this other thing has XML in it to specify the song urls, and the names (I put in a few tunes of my own), and the actual html file that flash made worked for me, but the schmo do I do to get it to work in another page? I copy pasted all the “crutial” looking stuff into my html for my website, (its a highschool project I’m doing, and the flash mp3 player is just for extra points, and this will never be officially published to the web) and it just… didnt work. it didnt load the XML file with the song info, so nothing worked… ideas?
Bleh… nevermind… feel free to delete this… O_o I found a solution, but it’s not my favourite one… lol
