Hey guys, I found the tutorial for the great XML slideshow. I have it working except I want it to format the XML caption info with CSS. Here is my AS, the file was too big to upload, can you tell me how to get it reading from CSS? Thanks for any help. The tutorials and forums here are great.
[AS]
delay = 3000;
function loadXML(loaded) {
if (loaded) {
xmlNode = this.firstChild;
image = [];
description = [];
link = [];
total = xmlNode.childNodes.length;
for (i=0; i<total; i++) {
image* = xmlNode.childNodes*.childNodes[0].firstChild.nodeValue;
description* = xmlNode.childNodes*.childNodes[1].firstChild.nodeValue;
link* = xmlNode.childNodes*.childNodes[2].firstChild.nodeValue;
}
firstImage();
} else {
content = “file not loaded!”;
}
}
desc_txt.html = true;
desc_txt.wordWrap = true;
desc_txt.multiline = true;
desc_txt.label.condenseWhite=true;
imagesStyle = new TextField.StyleSheet();
imagesStyle.load(“links.css”);
desc_txt.styleSheet = imagesStyle;

xmlData.ignoreWhite = true;
xmlData.onLoad = loadXML;

function prevImage() {

}
function slideshow() {
myInterval = setInterval(pause_slideshow, delay);
function pause_slideshow() {
clearInterval(myInterval);
if (p == (total-1)) {
p = 0;
firstImage();
} else {
nextImage();
}
}
}

Edit:
When I test the movie in flash it does not display the XML correctly now either. It was working before, but now it shows up as HTML code, not just text. This was workign before, but it somehow seems to have stopped workign now.
