For the purpose of testing vids on my hdd before uploading, does anyone know what the specific video and audio data rates (kbps) of Youtube flv’s are after they’ve been uploaded and converted (by Youtube) ?? I do know the resolution is 320x240, Flash7, audio is mono.
As best I could find googling, the audio rate seems to be 64 kbps (anyone know otherwise?)
Video rate is a bit harder to find… some sites seem to think its about 250kbps… anyone know for sure?
Otherwise, what might be the closest encoding within Flash 8? I’m thinking “Flash 7 - Low Quality - 150kbps” for the video and 64 kbps for the audio (under Advanced settings)
(as well as to resize the video to 320x240)
