Youtube video in flash

Hi guys,

I’m trying to play an youtube video inside my flash site but I don’t even know where to start can anyone please help me?

Thanks for the attention!!

I’m doing some tests and I got somewhere but still not working (it loads the you tube window but not the movie), here is what I did:

I’ve created a movie clip and I threw the following action on it

createEmptyMovieClip("video1");
loadMovie("http://blip.tv/scripts/flash/showplayer.swf?autostart=false&brandlink=http%3A//.blip.tv/&showplayerpath=http%3A//blip.tv/scripts/flash/showplayer.swf&file=http%3A//blip.tv/bookmarks/rss/165318&user=Blues%20Filmes&tabType1=details&tabType2=details&tabUrl2=http%3A//blip.tv/rss/bookmarks/165318", "video1");
video1._x = -166.9;//a posição X
video1._y = -138.6;//a posição Y

Does anyone hava a sugestion?

Thanks again

its more technical than loadMovie() i suspect

there are security issues, sites don’t really want you to steal their content, it would be better to download the video then load it on your webspace

If YouTube does not like people stealing their conent then I doubt if they want you to host their files on your web server…

Might want to read the terms before stealing and posting youtube videos on your server:
http://www.youtube.com/t/terms

I don’t want to steal anything…its my video thats posted…and its not actualy youtube its blip.tv

I just need a way to make the video play right without legging. on PC it works fine but on MAC it sucks :m:

Please help!!!

Make a link to the blip.tv page or if it is your own video just forget about the whole blip.tv thing and bring your own video (.flv) into your .fla.
