I am curious about the zooming icons effect… I have seen this done with vector shapes but not with jpeg images for example. This is what I would like to make:
A page full of thumbnails (photos). When you mouse over an thumbnail, the image zooms in and centers in the middle of the page. When you mouse out it zooms out and returns to its original position. All this without distorting the jpeg. So I guess the thumbnail jpegs would have to be separate files from the larger images. Not an easy task I assume…just curious if anyone knows how something like this could be achieved.
