Wow, don’t say too much now… I’ll try not to either.
That looks pretty good, I like the colors. Good Job :thumb:
digital kitsch
haha. Do you have reasons? I didn’t mind it.
i dont know where to begin. this kind of thing has become a universal language among digital dabblers. Wait - dont get me wrong. It requires an eye and indeed a modicum of skill but its so cliched and so like over-hyped from Japan to the US. we see so much of this. Everybody is making it without any responsibility for its point or message but only a desire to appear ‘cool’. Fine you can do it - it’s all about seeing the objects, combining, composing, you make 3 rectangles, you randomize them you place them together and whoa, there it is - Great ! and now please move on…!
very well said. It’s kind of… accidental art I guess.
Gonna have to agree with sixo. It’s all good and all for you that you can do it, but it’s been done to death long ago. I suggest you move on… Maybe we’re wrong though, and there’s loads of artistic depth to these pieces, or you can sell them for lots of money.
Until I see proof of it though, I’m going to assume it’s just another modern art niche that should meet its end.
hmm, innovate or die, they do have a point HeatoN
Want something different?
K…
Don’t forget to browse around too.
i happen to really like that one. that is, in my opinion, pretty darn good:thumb:
edit: forgot to mention, the site is also darn good and i’m loving those spacescape pics:thumb:
I must say I like that one a lot more. Very well done, makes me want to learn a 3d program
I like the moons horizon, and the lighting on the earth is pretty alright. I think you need to do a better unwrapping of the moon, the texture map on it is very stretched. The moon model is pretty alright. How long have you been modelling?
Just got the 3dsm6 trial version, (had it for about 9 days now). been lookin up tutorials, memorizing, and combining the tutorials together to make my own work.
PS7 exp: 3 1/2 years.
I might update the starscape today, looks a bit to underdone, need some nebula features and some more stars.
Ok, in that case the moon thing is pretty good…
Shouldn’t critique a beginner too much.
I’ve been working with Max for 3 years now. (that sounds alot longer than it feels…)
Anyways, keep it up… Except if you’re looking for crit. on 3d pieces, may I suggest:

They’ve got some good artists, usually good with critique, and they’re not as demanding as cgtalk.
