Hey guys,
last night, I was browsing the forums, and then suddenly my computer just shut off. Right after, I smelt smoke. I decided to take apart my comp, and sniff around if I can see what burnt out.
My conclusion is that my power supply (300w) burnt out on me. I just upgraded from a NVIDIA MX440 to a Radeon 9800 Pro, and that required it’s own power source. I think thats the reason my power supply failed on me. I’m running 2 HD’s, 1 CDROM, and the GFX card. I’m going to buy my new computer soon anyways, but I was wondering what voltage of power I should look into. Would a 350w be enough?
