ghhJob Requirements.
We need something similar to http://handrailsinc.com/index.cfm?page=baluster_design
In the example I’ve borrowed for this page, you select the line on the step and then click the baluster to put in that location and repeat for whatever pattern you want. I will provide the pictures of the balusters; we would want the posts closer together, with 3 on each step; upon completion of the pattern, I’d want the ability to save the pattern (codes) into a registry, database (sql server) or client vairable; we would want the user to see all the choices without selecting the post and drag/drop their choice onto the post; we would not include the form in the flash file, but there may be one outside of the flash that maybe you can reference?
Further instructions:
We want the interaction to work most like the one found at http://www.mrstair.com/planningCC.html. Except we want three balusters per step. The Balusters should be visible all the time. We like to be able to either drag and drop the baluster from the available display to it location or click the location and then the baluster (like it performs on MrStair.com). The entire graphic needs to fit in the space available at http://www.handrailsinc.com/index.cfm?page=baluster_design.
The baluster choices are going to come from the PDF catalog http://www.rwspecialties.com/pdf/StairPartsRW2006Catalog.pdf pages 6-10. Of the wood balusters, we will want to start with only 5015, 5712, 2215, 2200 and 2015 (but may want to add some others later). For Metal balusters, we will start with the ones on the bottom of page 8, but may want to change some out later. We want the baluster choices to be dynamically customized either with XML or filename/placement.
The user should have the ability to “Clear” and “Remember” the displayed pattern. “Remember” should store the resulting pattern so that I can pick it up and process it as part of a larger decision tree. Also, the user should be able to enter a number or filename to display a previously defined pattern.
Budget $150

Thanks in advance.
