3D effect

HI,

I am looking for tutes on creating 3d effect using a 3d engine in flash.

Does anyone know of a good tute or 3d engine ?

um swift is good for creating .swf 3D graphics, but if you want interactive 3d environments i really dont know!

Checkout www.mx3d.com This is a 3d flash environment that was written in action script, but mostly complied in flash bytecode using a prog called ‘flasm’ (http://flasm.sourceforge.com)

I have used swift b4, but it was after using 3ds max 4-5 so I didn’t think much of it. Not that max is any fun.

I was hoping to learn more about creating objects in flash using X , Y , Z coordinates.

This is the only tute I could find on it, however there are errors in the tute. there is a { out of place so you get a syntax error, and even after fixing that, it didn’t function.

This is stuff is way outta my league, but with a working sample I can play around with it and learn.

Yeah, we’ve discussed that tut over at the forums there and how its pretty advanced and doesn’t help much for anyone starting out.

The one Im working on should be really easy - well considering. It will walk through all the methods of creating an actionscripted 3D effect in Flash - and not just one effect, many of them! And Flas will be provided.
