3dbench marks... whats urs?

Hey guys, i just got the free version of 3dbench mark from futuremark.com. I must say its a pretty cool app… well whats u guys score! me and my friends have all run it, and its pretty cool looking at the results, wow i sound like a complete nerd… anyway, download it and post ur score!

OH! I used to run 3Dmark all the time back when I formatted the comp every week with a new driver. Which version? 3Dmark2003 or 3DMark2001?

i got around 12000

I have 2001 and score about 4000

love police: are you serious? are you sure it’s 12,000 and not 1,200?

yeah… in 2003.

I had to quit benchmarking because Im a firm believer that we’d have better hardware and drivers if vendors werent so pre-occupied with building cards to do well on benchmark apps instead of real world performance.

But thats just me

That being said, heres the last scores I ran at stock speeds:
3DMark2001: Benchmark Online Support Retired = 14763
3DMark2003: Result not found = 5414

I have no idea what patches or updates have been made to any of these utilities so my scores are probably out of date?

i got around 12000 yeah… in 2003.
Im guessing you have a Radeon x800 pro/xt or a GeForce 6800 Ultra/GT? Those seem to be the only cards registered at Futuremark that are getting those kind of scores.

Radeon x800 would defintinely boast a 5 digit score.

On my Laptop, I’ve got:

3DMark2001: 10057 points
3DMark2003: 2776 points

what is this? what do you get a score for?

You run the benchmarking programs that test your graphics card and give you a score based on the results. The higher your score, the more likely you are to be able to play the latest and maybe even future 3D games at a decent frame rate and resolution
