3Ds max animation

Hi all,

I’m not sure if anyone has any experience with this, but I’ll take a stab anyway.

I’ve rigged up a game model I’ve been working on. Every time I’ve rigged it I get this same anomoly with the forearm bone where it twists. I’ve come across it before, but always seem to be able to get around it. I’ve been doing this for a few hours now and can only seem to dampen the effect by adjusting the preferred angle for the forearm bone in the IK menu… I can’t get rid of it, or get around it. In the animations you’ll see what I mean… doesn’t look very good.

I’d rather not resort to character studio as its only a very very simple rig.

If I have to create it again (Done it twice already) I will… assuming someone has a suggestion :smiley:
