I love my new iPhone, but ■■■■ am I frustrated by the battery life. I never had my first-generation iPhone run out of juice, but I have already gone through several cycles on my iPhone. Granted, it’s not really fare to compare the two — I’m doing streaming music from Pandora on WiFi all day now — but it’s still pretty annoying that streaming the music will deplete the battery in three hours.
I remember Systm had an episode about building a portable power pack to put into your backpack. Maybe you could follow that and figure out how to charge your iPhone using it.
I remember that batery pack being like 20 pounds
But it had a hefty charge, and it was old school. 
They have the USB power packs ones for the ipods. I’m sure those would work… can’t really keep it in your pocket to charge though [whisper]2 week stand by time with light calling ftw[/whisper].
Yeah, I guess I’ll either have to bring a charger to work, or not listen to streaming audio for nine hours.
