That “burned through the monthly AI credit in a day” Copilot line is the part that gets me, because it basically turns “autocomplete” into a metered utility. If they’re going usage-based, they really need a live “you’ve spent $X today” gauge inside the editor, not a surprise-invoice vibe after the fact. It’s like handing someone a rental car with no fuel gauge and then charging them for “driving enthusiasm. ”
