I have absolutely no knowledge of PHP at all, only AS, so this is probably very basic to some of you.
A friend and I are about to start making some Flash games, and on my first test game I would like to have a sort of scoreboard, that would get loaded into Flash each time a user loads the game.
It would be a universal scoreboard, as in the arcades, so there is a top 10 scores, each time someone gets a high score, it’s written to the PHP file, and the same file is then loaded into Flash the next time someone loads the game etc.
I’m sure it’s pretty simple, but having literally NO knowledge of PHP, I wouldn’t know where to start.
It would be great if you could tell me how to do it, or point me to a tutorial that features something along these lines.
