I have this weird idea, what if someone designed an AI that used a mix of genetic algorithims, and learning through association?
What I mean is, if I made a program where all you asked it was to figure out a new medicine, say, that would cure cancer without harming the patient, and the AI knew how individual molecules would interact with each other in real time, it would get an answer through virtual experimentation.
Do you think this is a good idea?
It might be a stepping stone towards a thinking computer.
