Hey guys,
Sorry for such a n00by post but I’d love to make a game like Chicken & Eggs, where eggs fall from above and the player has to catch them. http://gamescene.com/Chicken_And_Eggs_game.html
The thing is that I’m not used to creating games like this, I haven’t really ventured far with AS2. I tried looking for tutorials and most are in AS3 or there’s none at all as I don’t know what genre this game is exactly.
I can get the coding of the character moving left to right and I can get collision working etc … but I’ve no experience in ‘random’ objects falling from above and spawning in the stage but dropping vertically down. There are 5 objects in total with different scoring also there’s a power down so if that character collects that the score goes down, BUT I only want the power down to show up a few times during the game.
