A good full flash website tutorial

Hey guys,
Im trying to fix a flash website for a client- problem is I haven’t worked with flash since FLASH MX! I know my way around, but Im not always certain. Is there a good tutorial for the current version of Flash?

Basically one that can help me make sure I don’t miss anything? So it has to be fairly through? Everything I’ve found was for Flash MX, but this was built with AS 2.0!

thanks

There is no such formula to learn how to build a flash site. Read up on actionscript so you can understand it  never an easy way with work like this- unless you outsource.

I agree, set goals what you want for the site, learn how to do them, build from scratch
Its more fun that you would think

Well- i think I didn’t make myself clear.

I’m fairly comfortable with flash and AS. I just haven’t used it for several (3?) years. I just need to see a good tutorial how things might have generally changed in the new versions of flash. For one AS 3 is very different from before!

Oh, ok, well theirs whole sites and tutorials dedicated to AS2 to AS3 transitions, Google man

right… I know, its kinda lame to ask, just wondering if there is anything you liked?

Um… goToAndKirupa. But yes, gotoandlearn has some nice video tutorials.

I agree, there’s no one way to make a flash website; they’re just organized hodgepodges (yay oxymorons) of AS, depending on what you’re trying to make.

Both Kirupa.com and the gotoandlearn are quite good.
