Hey Everyone.
Once again thank you for this amazing forum and all the help you give.
My question is as simple as a matter of approach. I’m about to start making a full site for a band I’m in. And my idea so far is to make a “main” page, which will actually just be a bunch of loaders positioned on the stage (full screen). Ie a loader for the menu, another for some graphics, one for the logo, one for the music player, and a huge one loading the content. (Or something like that.)
My reason for this, is the ability to program everything in different .fla’s instead of working in a huge project. (As I’ve ended up doing before.) - making it easy to redo the menu for instance.
What do you think of this approach? Is there a better way to do it?
Programming the elements in Flash, but using XHTML to do the layout?
Also - will my menu (dynamically loaded in a Loader Clip) be able to change the content in the main content loader? (I can see one workaround being doing the roll-over fx in the ‘menu fla’ but placing “invisible” buttons in the main fla, and adding the onRelease there. - Or maybe this is not needed at all??)
As you can probably tell, I have the design in my head, but haven’t started anything yet.
So any thoughts will be greatly appreciated, before I begin.
