A scrollbar for making a text scroller

i can not find a scrollbar in MX 2004 to make a text scroller. can someone help me :q:

it has unfortunetly been excluded from mx 2k4, but you can always retrieve them from old mx files:

or you can use the textarea component. (i don’t recommend it)

my mx can’t read the fla. siet. can someone give me one for 2004 ???

that is for MX2k4, you can also download the component from MM exchange

the file that is posted is for Flash MX 2004 (you said you were having problems opening the file). But as an alternative you can download the whole component set from Macromedia.com (MM) Look for a section named “Exchange”.
